The State of California regulates annual fire extinguisher service and semi-annual commercial kitchen hood service, which are required by most insurance policies.
Each extinguisher and hood service has an inspection tag marked with the date and year the last service was completed. State, county, and local fire marshals inspect this information for safety compliance.
